The ADvantage program is a Medicaid-funded program administered by DHS Aging Services. The program serves seniors age 65+ and adults with physical disabilities age 21+. It allows members to receive services while remaining in their homes. The ADvantage program does not provide 24-hour care and you must be able to remain safely in your home. ADvantage is a great alternative to other long-term care options such as nursing homes. To qualify, you must meet both financial and medical qualifications. These qualifications are determined by the local DHS county office. PERSONAL CARE (PROVIDERS)
Our Personal Care Aides (Providers) can help with but are not limited to the following: Meal Preparation, Housekeeping, Laundry, Personal Errands, and Bathing.
SKILLED NURSING CARE
Our nursing staff will provide care in accordance with the physician’s orders by assessing your condition, giving injections, setting up and administering medications, drawing lab work, monitoring diabetic needs, administering IV therapy, giving instructions and teaching on patients health conditions, etc.
Our PT staff can provide rehabilitative therapy, surgical and diabetic wound care, and Anodyne Therapy. Anodyne Therapy is used to temporarily increase circulation and reduce pain, stiffness, and muscle spasm.
